This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. A sample of 100 married couples (N = 200) was recruited through social media and community networks. Participants completed a standardized questionnaire assessing marital quality, communication, emotional support, and mood. Additionally, 20 in-depth interviews were conducted with a subsample of participants to gather more nuanced qualitative data.

This study provides insights into the complex dynamics of husband-wife relationships in the Indian context, highlighting the importance of cultural and familial factors in shaping marital relationships. The findings have implications for the development of culturally sensitive interventions aimed at promoting healthy marital relationships and improving mental health outcomes.
